accessibility statement
Last reviewed:
The Axis is built to WCAG 2.2 AA at minimum across all pages we own, and AAA wherever a third-party embed does not constrain us. This page is the honest scope statement.
What conforms
- Every page we author hits AAA contrast (7:1 body text) on the default palette.
- Every interactive control is keyboard-reachable, has a visible focus ring (3px yellow, 2px ink offset), and is at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Heading order is preserved across templates; landmarks (
header, nav, main, footer) are in place. - Motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion; nothing flashes more than three times per second. - Forms use programmatic labels, persistent error summaries, and never use placeholder-only labels.
What is limited by embedded tours
Embedded virtual tours are third-party content. We use a click-to-load facade so nothing third-party loads before you ask for it. Once a tour is loaded, the conformance of the panorama viewer itself is the responsibility of the tour provider. We do our best to choose providers and configurations that meet AA, and we will name a known issue on a per-tour basis when one exists.
